Squirrelling Away Knowledge: Fall Outdoor Learning, K-3
Embracing the squirrel's industrious spirit, this 1.5 hour workshop will fill you with ideas to immediately put into place for the fall season. This session is designed to equip you with knowledge and tools to seamlessly integrate the vibrant colours and seasonal richness of autumn into the Primary curriculum, with a special focus on literacy (with ideas for the revised language arts curriculum), art, mathematics, and science disciplines. You will take away prompts and experiences that you can easily integrate, even the next school day! Join us as we learn from our busy squirrel friends and use the season of harvest as a springboard for immersive and holistic outdoor learning.
Wednesday, September 27th, 4:00 - 5:30pm
